Sunday June 5th OPEN CALL for the R-Phils
2011 DIAMOND DIVAS DANCE TEAM!
REGISTRATION ........must be done in advance to ensure your spot. Spaces are limited. There will be an online registration form available at www.rphilsdanceteam.com under the 2011 Diamond Diva link as of May 1, 2011. Registration will open starting on May 1 and will close on May 31th. Please read throught the following information prior to registering.
Open Call begins at 8:30 am for the MINIS and at 9:30am for the MIGHTYS. Parents are invited back at 12:00pm (MINIS) and 1:00pm (MIGHTYS) to videotape the choreography for practice purposes. We will be done promptly @1pm (MINIS) and 2pm (MIGHTYS). Warm-up jackets, hair ties, and discounted tickets will be on sale until 2pm. Any dancer that was not fitted for a costume upon arrival needs to be fitted by the end of Open Call practice on June 5th.
The following are the Diamond Divas Game and Performance Assignments. Each team will be performing at four games, 2 times per game! The first routine will be performed before the national anthem and the second routine will be performed between the 2nd and 4th innings. The girls will need to report to the Batting Tunnel Area located behind the food court area at the designated arrival time for each game. On game days they should show up in complete uniform, ready to PERFORM! Uniform distribution in tentatively scheduled for June 12th.

Jen and selected members of the R-Phils Dance Team will be responsible for the girls from arrival time until the last performance. Parents should physically meet their daughters inside the Batting Tunnel (located behind the restrooms in the food court) immediately after the last performance to escort them back to their seats. TICKETS!! Your dancer voucher will be given to you at check in on June 5th. DO NOT LOOSE THIS. The vouchers MUST be redeemed for an actual ticket. Additional tickets may be purchased by calling the Reading Phillies office at 610-375-8469. If ordering tickets, please call in advance so your tickets will be grouped together and let them know you have a voucher to redeem. We will be selling discounted ticket books that can be purchased on the 5th. It is $27 for a book of 6 general admission tickets that can be used for any 2011 home game.
Team Dues are $105.00 and must be paid by cash or check made payable to R-Phils Dance Team on Sunday june 5th. The dues include all practice time, choreography, professional instruction, game participation, costume usage, a diamond divas dance team T-shirt, and your divas ticket vouchers to all 4 games.
Each of the girls will be given a Diamond Diva T-Shirt. Please change into this t-shirt or something else after the performances are over to help preserve the actual costume pieces. Please remember that the dresses, bloomers and pom poms are property of the R-Phils and need to be returned post season. There will be an $85 costume fee for any lost or damaged costumes.
Warm-up Jackets will be on sale today for $40. They have the R-Phils Dance Team logo on the back and DIAMOND DIVA logo down the sleeve. Pants will also be available for $15 making the entire warm-up outfit $55(limited sizes and quantities available). Hair ties will also be sold 2 for $5. All of these items are OPTIONAL. The items you choose to purchase must be ordered and paid for on the 5th by cash or check made payable to “PRC”.
